ARTIST'S STATEMENT

I approach my work as an observer, refraining from imposing judgments on the subjects I depict.

My aim is to create spaces where the viewer, not the artist, is the judge—of meaning, emotion, and experience.

My practice spans diverse media, including photography, painting, graphic design, re-imagined photographic imagery, and prints on canvas, metal and acrylic. I extend these forms through woodworking, sheet metal manipulation, and the incorporation of cloth, found objects, and various crafting techniques.

The result is an interplay of textures and materials that feels both assembled and organic.

At the core of my work is a commitment to the common and the everyday—repairing, repurposing, and transforming materials to build out ideas and forms. By engaging with what’s readily available, I allow the mundane to become extraordinary, exploring how the familiar can shift and take on new life.
